c. Attribution & Session-Level Data (Core Utility Function)

Our Services may collect attribution data within a production session, which can include:

  • Identification of third-party products, tools, or assets used within a session

  • Non-content metadata indicating that a product was used (not creative content itself)

  • Usage context such as frequency, configuration class, or session presence

A single session may involve multiple products from multiple companies.

This data exists to support attribution, transparency, and product insight, not surveillance or resale.

  • Enable accurate attribution of product usage within sessions

  • Provide analytics and reporting aligned with user consent

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

a. No Sharing Without User Direction

By default, no user information is shared with third parties.

Information is disclosed only when a user:

  • Explicitly opts in, and

  • Is informed of:

    • What data will be shared

    • Which company will receive it

    • The purpose of the disclosure

b. Attribution-Based Sharing (Clarified)

Our platform offers an attribution utility that allows product makers (e.g., plugin developers, tool providers, asset owners) to understand how their products are used by users who choose to use those products.

When enabled by user consent:

  • We may share limited, product-specific user information with the company that owns the product being used

  • This information relates only to usage of that company’s product, not to other products or the broader session

  • The purpose of this sharing is limited to:

    • Product improvement

    • Usage analysis

    • Feature development

    • Marketing insights related to that specific product

Importantly:

  • We are not sharing our users as customers of our platform

  • We are facilitating attribution to the makers of products used within a session

  • A user may appear in attribution data for multiple companies, corresponding only to the products they chose to use

c. Explicit Restrictions

We will not share information:

  • With competitors of the user

  • With unrelated companies in the music industry

  • With labels, publishers, distributors, or affiliated organizations

Unless the user explicitly instructs us to do so.

5. Aggregated & De-Identified Data

We may generate aggregated or de-identified data for research, analytics, and platform improvement. This data does not identify individual users and may be used or shared without restriction.

6. GDPR & CCPA Considerations (Without Over-Commitment)

Where applicable, users may have rights under data protection laws, including the GDPR and CCPA, such as the right to:

  • Access information about the data we hold
