Effective Date: [01/01/2026]

  1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information through our products, services, software, and utilities (collectively, the “Services”), including attribution and session‑level analysis tools.

Our Services are designed to attribute the use of digital products, tools, and assets within music‑production workflows while respecting user control, consent, and privacy. We collect only the information necessary to operate the Services, improve functionality, and support transparent attribution.

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not share data without user direction or consent.
  • We do not disclose information to competitors or unrelated third parties.

This policy applies to all users of the Services.

   b. Technical & Usage Information

Information automatically collected when you use the Services, including:

  • Session activity, timestamps, and interaction logs
  • Diagnostic, performance, and stability data
  • Aggregated or pseudonymized analytics

   c. Attribution & Session‑Level Metadata (Core Utility Function)

Our Services may collect attribution data within a production session, including:

  • Identification of third‑party products, tools, or assets used
  • Non‑content metadata indicating that a product was used
  • Usage context such as frequency, configuration class, or session presence

This data never includes creative content (audio, stems, presets, compositions, or project files).

Attribution exists to support transparency, product insight, and ecosystem integrity, not surveillance, profiling, or resale.

Where required by law, we process information based on:

  • User consent
  • Legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services
  • Contractual necessity when providing core functionality

Users may withdraw consent at any time, subject to operational and legal requirements.

  1. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  a. No Sharing Without User Direction

By default, we do not share personal information with third parties.

Information is disclosed only when a user:

  1. Explicitly opts in, and
  2. Is informed of:
    • What data will be shared
    • Which company will receive it
    • The purpose of the disclosure

   b. Attribution‑Based Sharing (User‑Enabled)

Our attribution utility allows product makers (e.g., plugin developers, tool providers, asset owners) to understand how their products are used.

When enabled by user consent:

  • We may share limited, product‑specific usage information with the company that owns the product being used.
  • Shared information relates only to usage of that company’s product.
  • No information about other products or the broader session is disclosed.

Permitted purposes include:

  • Product improvement
  • Usage analysis
  • Feature development
  • Marketing insights related to that specific product

We do not share users as customers of our platform.

   c. Explicit Restrictions

We will not share information with:

  • Competitors of the user
  • Unrelated companies in the music industry
  • Labels, publishers, distributors, or affiliated organizations

Unless the user explicitly instructs us to do so.

    d. Service Providers (Sub‑Processors)

We may use third‑party service providers for hosting, analytics, infrastructure, or operational support. These providers:

  • Process data only on our instructions
  • Must implement appropriate security and confidentiality measures
  • Are prohibited from using data for their own purposes

    e. Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any such transfer will remain subject to this Privacy Policy.

  1. Aggregated & De‑Identified Data

We may generate aggregated or de‑identified data for research, analytics, and platform improvement. This data does not identify individuals and may be used or shared without restriction.

  1. International Data Transfers

Information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions. When transferring data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as:

  • Access to personal data
  • Correction or deletion
  • Opt‑out of certain uses or disclosures
  • Information about data‑sharing practices

We respond to such requests in accordance with applicable law and operational requirements.

Nothing in this policy creates rights or obligations beyond those required by law.

  • Provide and improve the Services
  • Support attribution and reporting functions
  • Comply with legal, security, or operational obligations

Data is securely deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

  1. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to maintain a high standard of protection.

  1. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
